Computer printer is a device that attaches to the computer by a printer cable and produces printed copies on paper (puts computer data onto paper). These devices translate signals from a computer into words and images onto paper in black and white or color. There are many types of printers, include dot matrix, ink jet, laser, pen and ink devices. Most printers are used through a parallel port, but some newer ones use USB connections. Nowadays printer can print in color and print from 12 to 50 pages per minute.
